The old 1936 Boris Karloff flick The Mummy tells the story of a guy obsessed with a girl. An obsession the girl is not all that into. I mean, would you? Have you SEEN Boris in that movie? So this is kind of a ghost story or a Halloween special, but more than anything it's about that burned out time where you can't get over a girl to the point where the whole mess starts to get unhealthy and your friends start to look at you weird--like you're a --you know--a Mummy who sleeps in a sarcophagus.

Welcome to Genie Unction, a band whose music is as subtle as a 45' truck backing into a narrow alley in downtown Boston, denizens of the hemp rail, pushing a heavy anvil case of songs up a steel ramp.
